Looks like Rachel Fuda and John Fuda have made it past the notorious seven-year itch. The Real Housewives of New Jersey stars, who married in 2017, celebrated their wedding anniversary by recreating special moments. The duo also shared how they stay successful as a couple.
“I wanted to take my wife to a place that has meaning for us as a couple,” John told Page Six.
Recreating their love story
“We have a lot of history at Son Cubano,” John continued. “It’s where we celebrated our engagement. And for our anniversary, I made sure we sat at the same table where we sat for our engagement party all those years ago.”
The pair posed for photos like they did when they celebrated their engagement, including cuddling up and drinking champagne together.
“It was so special to be back at the palace where we sat surrounded by our family and our friends for our engagement party,” Rachel added. “I look at the pictures of us sitting at the same table, and I feel so fortunate.”
Secrets of marital success
In between bites, the couple whispered sweet nothings, which Rachel says is the secret ingredient in the recipe for their marriage success, along with physical intimacy.
“John and I always make sure to show affection to each other,” Rachel said. “It’s also important to understand the way your partner receives love,” she explained while adding a few more tips for couples who want to go the distance of married bliss.
“Remember to pick your battles,” she shared. “And don’t forget to prioritize sex!” Seems simple enough.
The Fudas made their reality TV debut last year on RHONJ’s 13th season and have since filmed another season of the reality TV show. Bravo has yet to announce the premiere date for Season 14.
