It’s natural to be a little bit puzzled by the Gizelle Bryant and Jason Cameron romance. When we learned about the pair dating, many of us were a little confused and highly skeptical. What does the 53-year-old Real Housewives of Potomac OG have in common with the 37-year-old Winter House alum?
Gizelle recently sat down on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, and of course, he had to ask about the status of their relationship. She confidently gave an update and shared exactly where the two stand today.
Are Gizelle Bryant and Jason Cameron still dating?
According to Gizelle, she and Jason are still together. That’s surprising, right? The two met at BravoCon in 2022, so at this point, they’ve been dating for a little over a year. That’s like a lifetime for reality stars. So, what’s their secret? Apparently, not seeing each other frequently.
Jason lives in New York City while Gizelle resides at Hotel Gizelle in Maryland. She said they see each other “every couple of weeks,” but she admitted that the distance can be tricky.
“It’s been difficult lately,” Gizelle explained. She added that she would be seeing him after her WWHL appearance. But, she clarified that when she’s in New York, they meet up at a hotel and not at Jason’s bachelor pad.
Andy asked Gizelle if they plan on taking their relationship to the next level anytime soon. He wanted to know if Jason had considered leaving NYC for Potomac. Gizelle was quick to reply, “No.”
Although Jason isn’t interested in moving to Potomac, he’s more than welcome to visit. Gizelle said that her daughters “love” him and he stays the night at their house when he comes to Maryland. In Season 8 of RHOP, we saw Jason visit Hotel Gizelle and spend time with Gizelle’s daughters. However, it sounds like he hasn’t quite earned the stamp of approval from the other Real Housewives of Potomac.
Gizelle said that her RHOP castmates aren’t close with him — not even her bestie Robyn Dixon. However, she said that Mia Thornton has a crush on him. After all, she has eyes and a TV, just like everyone else.
“Well, Mia says that she’s tried to see his body and tried to analyze it from Winter House,” Gizelle said. “She fast-forwards and rewinds a bunch of times.”
From the outside looking in, it does seem a little odd that Jason and Gizelle never post pictures together and only see each other on occasion. But, if it’s working for them, then it works for us.
