Vanderpump Rules star Ariana Madix is looking at a bright 2024. When 2023 started with heartbreak, Ariana displayed incredible strength. The affair between her longtime worm partner, Tom Sandoval, and her friend, Rachel Leviss, was a shock to almost everyone. I’m looking at you, Tom Schwartz.
But soon, Ariana received some positive attention. She had brand partnerships and commercials. She also starred in a Lifetime movie. Ariana and her friend and business partner, Katie Maloney, are trying to open their sandwich shop, Something About Her.
Ariana accomplished her dream to compete on Season 32 of Dancing with the Stars and came in third place. She slayed her routines week after week. Most recently, she has been promoting her new book, Single AF Cocktails. Ariana even stopped by The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon to taste some cocktails with the host. And Season 11 of VPR is set to premiere later this month. I’m sure that Sandoval is winning just as much as his ex. Just kidding!
Ariana’s plans for 2024 are perfect
“This year, it’s all just kind of a blank slate, baby,” Ariana told Page Six. Normally, Ariana would have plans for the rest of the year already. But 2024 is different. “I mean, I honestly feel like I haven’t even really had a second to stop. I just think that this year really is one I don’t even know how to look ahead,” she explained.
Ariana is also realizing another dream. She is playing Roxie Hart in Chicago on Broadway. “I’m so excited, I’ve wanted to be on Broadway my entire life. [I was a] theater kid, theater major, everything has always been leading up to this,” Ariana said.
The Pump Rules star continued, “It’s so iconic. I’m hoping that I can fill those shoes, and I just hope that when people look at the list of the names that I really stepped into it.” Real Housewives of Beverly Hills stars Erika Jayne and Lisa Rinna also took a turn in the role.
“I hope I can do everyone proud,” Ariana said. She added that she hopes that people realize that she is “someone who works really hard” and “someone who deserves to be up there.”
She also credits DWTS for preparing her for rehearsals. “That kind of grueling exercise for the body and for the mind is like the perfect lead-in to come into these rehearsals and to be learning this material,” Ariana said.
Ariana will make her debut in Chicago on January 29 at the Ambassador Theatre. She will perform for eight weeks. Vanderpump Rules Season 11 premieres on Tuesday, January 30 at 8/7c on Bravo.
