After Vanderpump Rules Season 10 concluded, Rachel Leviss’ future was almost entirely up in the air. Fans were unsure if she would return for Season 11 or if anyone would even want her to return in the first place.
No one knows what went down in the room where it happened, but ultimately, Rachel decided not to return for VPR Season 11. Whether it was a financial issue or a mental health issue, we may never know for certain. Rachel says she was asked plenty of times, but decided to focus on herself.
As Rachel burned her bridges with Bravo, the public wondered if she would return to the spotlight in any capacity. Ultimately, she decided she certainly would, with one of her most-discussed efforts being her podcast, Rachel Goes Rogue.
Rachel’s claims of praise for mental health openness
On January 8, Rachel dropped the first episode of her podcast. Once alone with the microphone, she discussed what it was like to be in the public eye after Scandoval. As for how the spotlight affected her time in public, she explained, “People who recognize me are usually happy to see me, and they would usually ask for a photo.”
Rachel continued, “There has been this really lovely woman that I met in Chicago actually, and she was like, ‘I just really condone what you’re doing and how you’re speaking out on your mental health, and that’s a really tough conversation to have … I’m just sending you so much encouragement and love.’ And so, it’s been very positive, the interactions that I’ve had.”
There will almost certainly be detractors who will claim this encounter was fabricated. As far as anyone can tell, it might be. However, the claim that those who recognize Rachel are happy to see her seems plausible. Most people are socially conscious enough not to harass people they hate out on the streets, even public figures.
Rachel Goes Rogue is now streaming wherever you get podcasts, and Vanderpump Rules Season 11 begins January 30 at 8/7c on Bravo.
