Very sad news from South Carolina. Madison LeCroy has provided us all with a lot of drama and outspoken comic relief over the years while starring on Southern Charm. This season, she’s been especially fun to watch as she’s kept her foot on Taylor Ann Green and Austen Kroll’s necks.
However, Madison recently put her normal firecrackery antics aside as she took to Instagram on New Year’s Eve to memorialize her father, Ted LeCroy.

Madison paid tribute to her “superhero” father
Madison paid tribute to her late father in a series of poignant Instagram posts. One photo captured an emotional moment on her wedding day, where she tightly embraced her father after exchanging vows with Brett Randle in 2022. The accompanying caption reflected her enduring connection to his spirit. “No matter where I am, your spirit will be beside me. I know that no matter what, you will always be with me.”
She shared another image of her holding her father’s hand on her wedding day. The caption read, “My hero.”
Additionally, LeCroy posted a screenshot of a touching text message from her father, affectionately referred to as “Papa,” expressing her reliance on his messages and voicemails to navigate 2024.
She also shared a serene photograph of her father lounging on a hammock against a backdrop of a sandy beach.
Accompanying these tributes was a short video capturing poignant moments with her father, predominantly from her wedding a year earlier. In one clip, her son, Hudson, referred to his grandfather as his best friend. Madison also shared texts from Ted expressing pride for her parenting and gratitude for her husband, Brett.
In a final message to her late father, she captioned a post, “He’s the greatest gift, your memory will drive me forward every day. My forever superhero.”
The heartfelt tributes elicited responses from fans, friends, and family members. Madison’s Southern Charm co-star Venita Aspen expressed gratitude for Ted, saying, “Thankful for him because he gave us you forever OUR hero because of that. I love you so and I am very sorry.”
Madison’s sister, Kaci Davis, added her sentiments. “We were so blessed to have such a loving Daddy.”
Madison didn’t provide further details regarding her father’s passing. Over the years, she’s occasionally shared glimpses of her father on social media, highlighting the close bond they shared and acknowledging the unique traits she inherited from him, like her “crooked lip.”
