At this year’s BravoCon, we all heard about how Adriana de Moura from Real Housewives of Miami had a short-lived connection with Below Deck Down Under stud Captain Jason Chambers. The thirst was real, and Adriana claimed she made out with “Captain Cutie.”
Adriana explained, “So, a couple of months ago he came to Miami – he had some charter job in Miami – and then he was sliding DMs, we connected, then I gave him my number [and] he came over for dinner.”
Now, Captain Jason is telling his side of the story. He spoke with TooFab about his experience with Adriana and confirmed that the two of them did kiss. But, it wasn’t quite as romantic as we may have previously thought. He also revealed that Adriana tried to get him to make a cameo on RHOM.
Come feel the rush, Captain
When chatting about his run-in with Adriana, Jason said that things were far more platonic than what Adriana said at BravoCon.
“Yes, I was in Miami. I went out,” Captain Jason told the outlet. “Adriana kind of insinuated I come on to the Housewives of Miami show, that’s not me, I didn’t want to do it.”
Jason continued, “So, we did catch up. We did have a dinner. It was nice, it was fine, it was very platonic. And yes, there was a kiss goodnight to say goodbye, and that was about it.”
That sounds a little bit different from the story Adriana told, where she made it seem like the two were full-on tonguing each other. Jason said, “I think there was a lot more insinuated to try and create a little drama from the other side.”
With that said, it’s not that “Captain Cutie” isn’t looking for romance. He’s just not looking for it with another Bravolebrity, nor is he looking to appear on another reality show. He said that between being a dad and being a yachtie, his life probably wouldn’t mesh well with another reality star’s.
“Trying to find someone else to fit into my relationship status is very difficult, so definitely not going to find someone over in America, because I live in a different world over here,” Jason shared. “I don’t think I’ll be matching up with anyone that’s pretty busy over in America doing the reality side of things.”
