Scheana Shay has been deemed generally unlikable by Vanderpump Rules fans. Scheana doesn’t have many things supporting her cause. Her actions don’t always come off as well thought-out. Like when she was spotted hanging out in Tom Sandoval’s room during BravoCon.
Moreover, Katie Maloney isn’t all that fond of Scheana. Since Katie is best friends with Ariana Madix, and Ariana is perhaps the world’s most-supported reality star, Scheana is frowned upon by association. Bad relationship with Katie, strike one. Hanging out with Tom, strike two. Scheana might just strike out.
Of course, Lala Kent was also accused of being in Tom’s room during BravoCon. She shot down those rumors quickly enough, but fans also took grievance with how she defended Tom at the convention. Now, in an unexpected turn, Lala’s sticking her neck out for Scheana.
Lala says Scheana’s feelings were “discounted”
In a recent Amazon Live, a fan asked Lala her thoughts on Scheana’s comments regarding Ariana. Scheana appeared on Bravo’s Hot Mic podcast where she said Ariana would never understand her struggle from Season 10 onwards. Fans slammed Scheana for these comments, calling her tone-deaf and selfish.
When asked, Lala said, “I didn’t listen to the Hot Mic podcast, but that’s probably true. I don’t think people will [understand]. Scheana; people really come for her. And I really don’t,” she trailed off. “I mean, I’ve come for her, I get it, we’ve all come for each other.”
Lala went on, “You know, Scheana went through a grieving process as well. She was done dirty by two of her nearest and dearest friends. So, I think that her feelings have been extremely discounted – by a lot of people, not just in the group, but, like, the fanbase. People really are hard.”
