The trailer for Rachel Leviss‘ podcast is here. Now, the reality star is talking about the fallout of Scandoval her way. “The day has finally come where I get the chance to tell my own story in my words,” she said. “The good, the bad, the ugly, all of it.”
As we know, Rachel had been involved in a months-long affair with her former Vanderpump Rules co-star, Tom Sandoval. He was in a nine-year relationship with his then-girlfriend, Ariana Madix.
“I know what I did was morally wrong,” Rachel said. “And I get it; I get the anger.” The fallout was so intense cameras continued to film after wrapping the season to capture everybody’s raw reactions to the news. It created a lot of turmoil, and after the reunion, Rachel took a hiatus from the group to heal — something she said should’ve happened earlier.
Rachel is moving on from Scandoval
Although Rachel is “completely removed” from the world of Bravo now, the reality star said her “first mistake” was signing on for Season 10 in the first place. “Looking back at that season, I was at my lowest of lows,” she said.
At the start of filming, Rachel had just ended her engagement with James Kennedy and admitted to “drinking a ton” to keep her mind off the chaos. “Point blank, I was not in a good mental space. In knowing that, I’m learning from my mistakes.”
As Rachel reflects on her last season, she said she sees “a girl that is going through pain.” She also admitted that she didn’t have the “right tools to tackle it.”
“…She feels like her needs are being met by someone who’s giving her adoration and attention, and I really did not prioritize my friendships when I got involved with Tom, and I regret that a lot.”
Vanderpump Rules Season 11 premieres on January 30, 8/7c on Bravo.
