The infamous, and stressful, weed “dinner party from hell” on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills served up tons of drama. The host, Kyle Richards, accused Sutton Stracke of not eating. Sutton said that Kyle was aware of her medical problem.
“My esophagus disorder is not something to be made fun of. I can’t eat certain foods,” Sutton explained in a confessional interview. But newbie Annemarie Wiley is a nurse anesthetist. And apparently a part-time sleuth. She got all up in Sutton’s business, and her esophagus.
Annemarie told Sutton that she needed to “chew her food more.” This newbie is coming on way too strong, and is Team Kyle all the way. Then, former Real Housewives of Dallas star Tiffany Moon discussed Annemarie’s behavior in an Instagram video. Oh, and Tiffany is an anesthesiologist.
Dr. Tiffany Moon weighs in on Sutton’s esophagus
“I think it was very disturbing how Annemarie was, like, weaponizing her medical profession to tell Sutton things about her own condition,” the RHOD alum stated.
“The esophagus exists for one reason, which is to get food from your mouth into your stomach. It’s just like a long, narrow tube,” Tiffany explained. “Sometimes the esophagus can have a stricture, which is a narrowing, and it can be severe or it can be mild.”
She continued, “So you don’t just chew your food more. A stricture is a stricture, and you can chew your food all you want, but unless you blend it into a smoothie, if your stricture is narrow, you’re gonna have the feeling of food stuck in your esophagus.” That sounds extremely unpleasant.
In the end, Tiffany found the whole conversation “kind of cringy.” Amen! She added, “I don’t know what made her go at Sutton so hard, especially since it was her party.”
“I found that to be incredibly rude. But yeah, let’s not use our medical knowledge to come at people, especially when you’re wrong,” Tiffany said.
