Over the years, we have lost some solid Real Housewives stars due to either quitting or being let go by the network. However, while we were happy to see some walk out the door, there were others we wished would be given a second chance. Arguably what makes a good housewife is the ability to hold a grudge, fight an argument, and really not give a damn that cameras are catching your every move. While there are still some cast members who are watchable, there are others we still hold a candle for in our hearts. These are the former Real Housewives we hope to see come back to Bravo.
Monique Samuels
Devastated doesn’t begin to cover how upset I was when Monique Samuels left the Real Housewives of Potomac. After the final episode of Season 5 and a rough reunion, Monique decided to call it quits. It didn’t help that she and Candiace Dillard Bassett found themselves in a physical brawl, with everyone taking the singer’s side.
However, I believe she exited the series way too early. Monique was sweet and funny, which helped add a great dynamic to the franchise. I think if she came back, it would be a great redemption season for her and a chance to prove she is more than just her outbursts.
Denise Richards
The James Bond actress is iconic for the time she spent on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, mainly thanks to her threesome storyline. After two eventful seasons, Denise Richards chose to leave the 90210 franchise after Season 10. She had more than enough of the women whispering about her sex life with Brandi Glanville, and frankly, the Hollywood star didn’t feel the need to explain herself.
However, a recent episode of RHOBH showed an intoxicated and high Denise laying into Erika Jayne and Dorit Kemsley. Needless to say, Denise was the best part of that weed dinner and I need more of it…pronto! The mother of three is fearless when it comes to the other women and knows she holds star power above most of them. If I could vote to bring back one housewife, it would be Denise.
NeNe Leakes
NeNe Leakes left the Real Housewives of Atlanta after 13 seasons. The former stripper-turned-actress got a little too big for her britches and decided she should move on to greener pastures. The problem with that was that the series lost a huge dramatic storyline when NeNe left, and it has yet to recover.
NeNe vowed not to return to Bravo, but recently, she started following all their accounts again, so maybe the two are in talks about a possible return? Let’s be honest: the ATL needs her on the show.
Dorinda Medley
Perhaps my favorite “Make it nice” housewife, Dorinda Medley, has my heart. I would give almost anything to see that blonde spitfire grace my TV again. Dorinda gave us classic moments like “Clip, clip, clip” and “I love you for coming, and I love you for leaving.”
Even though the Real Housewives of New York City was rebooted, there is something to be said about the OGs, particularly Dorinda. Her New York City way of living was everything I wanted to aspire to and still do. Sadly, her drinking got in the way, with Bravo having to choose to let her go. But Dorinda seems to be much better now and deserving of a second chance.
Camille Grammer
I love to hate Camille Grammer. She was the perfect RHOBH villain who knew how to stir the pot and which buttons to push. Camille never held back her opinion of others, including the “morally corrupt Faye Resnick.” She also had a string of weird yet entertaining friends like Allison DuBois, who read everyone at her dinner party.
Above all, Camille has proven to be a decent friend when others have failed. Again, the weed party alone proved that Camille needs to be asked back for the series.
TELL US – WHO DO YOU WISH WOULD COME BACK TO THE REAL HOUSEWIVES?
