Here we go again! The Real Housewives of New Jersey Season 14 has finished filming, and from the chatter around this upcoming season, it’ll be nothing like fans have seen before. Since joining the Real Housewives fold in Season 9, Jackie Goldschneider has been at odds with Teresa Giudice and Jennifer Aydin. However, the newest batch of episodes will bring something different.
During a new interview with The Messenger at the iHeartRadio Jingle Ball event, Melissa Gorga (yawn) revealed that the group’s relationships will go “upside down and sideways” in the newest season.
Melissa says everything has changed
Who would’ve thought we’d see the day Jackie and Teresa would be sitting next to each other at a BravoCon panel after the sh*t show these two have been through? Certainly not me, but the sudden switch has had everybody talking.
“There is nothing that is the same, actually,” Melissa said. “It’s very different this year.”
Regarding switches, Jackie isn’t the only one who made a move. Rookie Housewife Danielle Cabral also switched teams — joining forces with Melissa, Margaret Josephs, and her first-season nemesis, Rachel Fuda.
When The Messenger asked if the panel switches had to do with more than scheduling changes, Melissa said yes.
“I would say so,” Melissa shared. “I’m gonna put a big yes on that.”
Where does Jackie stand with the group?
Even though Jackie has always had a close relationship with Melissa and Margaret, something changed in Season 14. After rumblings of the tides shifting in Jersey caught traction on social media, Margaret confirmed things were not the same.
“Um, you know … I love Jackie. I do love Jackie,” Marge explained. “… and we are bonded, we have a bond. For whatever reason, it’s not the same right now, but I’m sure it will be.”
Melissa, on the other hand, made interesting comments about Jackie’s new friendships on her podcast, On Display.
“We definitely have people on [RHONJ] who if they’re starting to feel — especially this season, woof, if they’re starting to feel less than, or like, they are not getting enough airtime of some sort, they’ll just gravitate the complete other way because they’re like, ‘Well, this will get me airtime.’ It’s the most frustrating thing when it comes to ‘Housewives.’ But I think that’s what makes the show go round also,” Melissa said.
The Real Housewives of New Jersey Season 14 doesn’t have an air date yet, but when it returns in 2024, we’re sure it’ll be electric.
