Look out, New York! There’s a bridezilla on the loose, and she has a hankering for jellybeans. If you didn’t know, Real Housewives of New York City alum Kelly Bensimon is engaged. Somebody put a ring on it!
She recently chatted with The Messenger about her upcoming wedding plans. When speaking with the outlet, she said she’s fully prepared to be a bridezilla. We’ve been warned.
Here comes Bridezilla Kelly
Right now, Kelly is gearing up for the upcoming season of Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip, but she’s also knee-deep in wedding planning. She got engaged to Scott Litner over the Fourth of July weekend. They have their sites set on a summer wedding in 2024.
“We have a date of the 22nd of June, so at least we have that,” Kelly shared. “My girls and I are definitely trying to figure out what we’re going to do. They’re very excited.”
Although there’s a lot of excitement in the air, Kelly said that planning a wedding is “a beast.” She’s confident that her high-maintenance personality will transform her into a bridezilla sooner or later.
“I was like, ‘I don’t think I want to be bridezilla.’ And then I’m like, ‘I’m definitely going to be bridezilla.’ I’m so high maintenance when it comes to the aesthetics,” Kelly teased. “My girls want it to be very special, so it’s definitely going to be a wild ride, that’s for sure.”
We love that Kelly is so self-aware these days! The RHONY alum also revealed the details of the big day. She and Scott plan on having a small wedding ceremony followed by a massive party in the Hamptons. She’s not sure if any of her RHUGT pals will be coming to the ceremony, but she said they’re all invited to the party in the Hamptons! Oh, to be a fly on those walls.
