She even asked her husband, Rick Hilton, to extract her from last season’s Aspen trip on one of his Instagram posts. So, it is fair to say that social media isn’t Kathy’s strong suit.
Meanwhile, rapper Nicki Minaj is a Bravo super fan. She even hosted the Season 6 of The Real Housewives of Potomac reunion. It was EVERYTHING!
Well, it seems like Kathy and Nicki may be acquaintances or friends. Or Kathy is just reaching out to her on social media. Page Six has the details.
Kathy is a Nicki Minaj superfan
Nicki posted to Instagram last week, and Kathy dropped a message in the comments. The post has since been deleted. “Hey little Mama did you read my DM???,” she wrote. Oof.
In another comment, Kathy posted, “Can anyone help me to get our queen to read my DM I’m going to sleep in 30 min. PagingBarbie…. ” She added a bunch of heart emojis. Kathy previously told Andy Cohen on Watch What Happens Live that Nicki is her number one celebrity that she follows on social media.
Nicki didn’t respond publicly, but she was active on social media because she went on Instagram Live with Monica and Keyshia Cole the same night. Of course, Nicki could have sent Kathy a private message.
Fans swiftly reacted to Kathy’s hilarious post. “I know Paris [Hilton] is at home right now *head in hands*,” a fan wrote, referencing Kathy’s famous daughter. Another follower posted, “She saw it. She read it. She kept moving.” A third fan suggested that Kathy “put down the chardonnay.”
Kathy has left heart emojis on Nicki’s posts in the past. But Nicki and Kathy may have had a friendly relationship for a while. During an Instagram Live in 2022, Nicki asked Kathy to find “billionaire lesbians” for her and a “friend.” @Real Bravoholic shared the clip on Twitter.
Let’s just hope that Nicki reached out to Kathy. I need to see more of this duo.
