2023 has been a year of epic highs and lows for Ariana Madix, especially when it comes to relationships. The Vanderpump Rules star was hit hard when it came out that Tom Sandoval had been cheating on her with Rachel Leviss. While she suffered a great deal, things turned around for her in many ways.
For one thing, she secured a spot on ABC’s Dancing with the Stars, which was a longtime dream for her. Moreover, amid all the dust settling from Scandoval, Ariana found herself a healthy relationship with a new man – Daniel Wai.
By all accounts, Daniel has been exactly what Ariana needed. In her year of massive fame, Ariana got the chance to pose for the cover of Us Weekly. During her interview with the magazine, she spoke on the state of her relationship with Daniel.
Are Daniel and Ariana considering marriage?
Ariana confirmed that she and Daniel are still exclusive. When asked how it felt to have him flying out to DWTS each week, she said, “It’s awesome. He’s incredibly supportive. He sacrifices his sleep and time to help me with anything I need, and then he takes a red-eye back and goes straight to work.”
She further highlighted other positive traits, including how “He’ll clean up things that are left out and [does] little things you don’t really think about. When I come home from the show and everything’s clean and there’s food in the fridge that he made, it’s like, ‘Wow, that’s so nice.’”
Despite all the good, Ariana admitted there were a lot of nerves going into her new relationship. “nervous about everything all the time,” she laughed. “It’s just part of my personality.” When asked whether her thoughts on marriage had changed, Ariana simply said, “I don’t know.”
Dancing with the Stars continues Tuesdays at 8/7c on ABC and Disney+. Vanderpump Rules Season 11 comes to Bravo in January 2024.
