Erika Jayne has been salty since Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Sutton Stracke stormed out of Magic Mike Live. Sutton wore pants but wasn’t called onstage. She denied that was the reason for her meltdown.
Sutton claimed that she was offended by Erika and birthday girl Crystal Kung Minkoff’s dirty dancing onstage. After all, Sutton is on the board of the American Ballet Theater.
But when the group was departing Las Vegas, Erika’s friends from Magic Mike Live happened to be in the elevator. Erika forced Sutton to apologize and put words in her mouth. During that RHOBH episode, Sutton said, “Erika specifically, intentionally embarrassed me. Cue elevator doors, ‘Oh Sutton! Now’s your chance, you can apologize!’ What the hell?”
Did Erika Jayne set up the RHOBH elevator incident to humiliate Sutton?
Erika addressed the elevator controversy in an Instagram Live. “As a group, we were all in our suite, we were getting ready to leave Las Vegas. We were standing, literally, at the door,” Erika explained. “And if you know anything about these shows, there is always coverage.” In this case, the moment was captured by a producer on their cell phone since cameras weren’t there.
“We were on our way out, the f*cking elevators opened. I see Davis, and I go, ‘This is it. Sutton, this is your moment. Apologize to the wonderful performers walking out of their show.’” Erika said.
She continued, “And I think everybody including me was a little gagged. It was like the reality TV gods had dropped this moment in my lap, and I jumped all over it. It is what it is. You can’t make it up.” It was an awkward “Hellevator” moment.
“You can not set up Las Vegas elevators. If so, I could set up the weather, and if so I could set up a better life for myself and it wouldn’t be here,” Erika stated.
