There was one name on nearly everyone’s lips at BravoCon 2023 – Captain Jason Chambers. The Below Deck Down Under captain was nearly everybody’s Bravo hall pass, and it seemed almost every Bravolebrity was trying to get a piece.
So, everyone took note when the Captain was getting close to Lala Kent. The Vanderpump Rules star had expressed interest in Captain Jason before, made aware of his status as Captain Cutie by her podcast listeners.
However, despite many fans’ aspirations, she confirmed on her podcast that there was no hook-up with Jason at BravoCon. Still, many fans held out hope that there would be a future for the two stars, so, Lala decided to clear the air on the matter.
Lala Kent on Captain Jason: Now is not “the right time”
During an Amazon Live on November 13, a fan asked Lala if she was “going to date Captain Jason.” She responded, “I have things happening in my world that I don’t think that it is the right time to be dating anybody. There’s just things that I have put into boxes of, like, you know what, this box is the most important right now. We’re going to open that one up.”
Lala continued, “And we’ll deal with the other boxes later. The dating box is, like, packed up, put in storage. We’ll bring her out when she’s ready to be brought out.” She further expressed that she did not feel “ready to date” presently with her 2021 split from Randall Emmett still feeling rather fresh.
Another fan asked if she’d at least see Captain Jason again, and she said, “There’s a high chance,” given they’re both Bravolebrities. She further expressed that his residence in the Philippines would make things difficult. “I was like, ‘I’m down for long-distance but that’s too long-distance,’” she joked.
