Mob Wives has been off the air since 2016, so it isn’t often that we hear much about Renee Graziano. When we do, unfortunately, it’s usually not the most positive news. She’s had a challenging few years marked by addiction and a DUI crash.
Now, Renee is reportedly seeking help. She recently checked-in to a rehab facility after surviving a scary drug overdose. TMZ has the details.
Renee checked into a Texas rehab after overdosing on a “bad batch” of drugs
Renee herself alluded to her decision to enter rehab in an Instagram post about a week and a half ago. However, her manager Chris Giovanni gave more context to the situation that led Renee to seek out help.
Chris says he got a phone call from Renee after she entered treatment. She was accompanied by a counselor and only 10 minutes to share what had gone on. He says she revealed that a “bad batch” of an unnamed drug led her to overdose in mid-September.
Chris added that he had attempted to connect with Renee several times during the period from September until now, but their few conversations were short and sporadic, which he now knows was due to her scary incident.
According to Chris, Renee traced her relapse back to the profound grief she has been grappling with since the passing of her father, Anthony Graziano, in May 2019.
This isn’t Renee’s first time trying to get clean. Renee sought treatment from The Hills star Jason Wahler and his Red Songbird Foundation just last year, expressing a sincere desire to reclaim control of her life.
Hopefully, this was the rock-bottom wake up call Renee needed so this round of treatment sticks. Let’s all wish Renee the best.
