The divorce saga between Kim Zolciak and Kroy Biermann truly is the never-ending story of 2023. Despite beginning just a few months ago, the drama between the former Real Housewives of Atlanta stars feels like it’s been going on for years now.
Part of the perceived length is certainly the double divorce filing. The two filed against each other in late May, and then went through a bitter battle over fees and custody. Out of nowhere, the two managed to reconcile.
However, a short time later, Kroy filed once again. Kim was not altogether too happy about Kroy’s return to the divorce table, but her strategy to deal with it was less than ideal. She chose to mostly ignore it. Now, her denial may have reached new heights.
Are Kim and Kroy … getting along?
As of November 13, Kim’s Instagram handle was changed to @kimzbiermann. Her previous handle was simply @kimzolciak, having publicly dropped her estranged husband’s last name from her account’s identity in June of this year. She, of course, let go of her husband’s last name in the wake of their first divorce filings.
It would be easy to read this decision as another moment of denial from Kim over the second divorce filing. However, some evidence would suggest otherwise. While the divorce is still on (as far as everyone knows), Kim and Kroy got together to celebrate their 12th wedding anniversary, seemingly without any conflict.
Kim made the anniversary celebrations known on her Instagram, where she posted several videos of the shared food and drinks. The estranged couple even shared drinks with the restaurant staff. While Kim didn’t explicitly acknowledge Kroy in the videos, he looked to be enjoying himself. Perhaps the couple is getting along. But with these two, it’s impossible to tell.
