Crystal Kung Minkoff celebrated her 40th birthday in Las Vegas with her Real Housewives of Beverly Hills co-stars. Sutton Stracke might have dimmed the fun level at Magic Mike Live, but Crystal received a birthday dance for the ages.
Fans know that RHOBH newbie Annemarie Wiley also has some issues with Crystal later this season. I do like Crystal, but she needs to amp up her storyline. And it sounds like Annemarie will do that for her.
Someone was rude at BravoCon?
Crystal decided to give us the details about some rude Real Housewives at BravoCon 2023. She told hosts Justin Sylvester and Adrienne Bailon-Houghton of E! News, “There were so many. It’s shocking. I’m not gonna say any names, but New York,” Crystal added.
But was Crystal referring to the original Real Housewives of New York City cast or the rebooted cast members? Thankfully, Crystal clarified her comment. “Both had rude,” the RHOBH star stated. Interesting. Well, we know it wasn’t Ramona Singer this year because she was bounced from BravoCon for alleged racist comments.
Meanwhile, former Flipping Out star Jeff Lewis slammed Crystal during the “Ask Andy” panel. “Did you all see Episode 1 of Season 13? Did you notice how Crystal didn’t talk the entire time?” Jeff asked the audience. “It was the best episode I’ve ever seen with Crystal in it!” Ouch!
“That’s Jeff Lewis and he’s sort of known for sticking it to people. He apologized and so I won,” Crystal stated. Then the hosts asked Crystal her thoughts about co-star Garcelle Beauvais’ comment that Crystal acts differently when cameras are rolling.
“I understand what Garcelle’s saying. When I’m off camera, she’s like, ‘You’re so fun, you’re so relaxed, you’re so sarcastic. Why are you not like that on camera?'” Crystal said. “I’m like, ‘I’m trying to get used to it.’ Most of these girls are actors.”
She continued, “It’s not normal having 10 cameras sitting on you. So, sometimes I clam up a little bit. This year I’ve gotten much better,” Crystal said. “I’ve gotten more relaxed about it but I actually don’t disagree.” This is Crystal’s third season holding a diamond, and she does seem more comfortable.
