With all the drama and heartache that reality TV can provide, it’s wonderful to get some good news. Real Housewives of Miami Season 6 has shown a bit of that drama and heartache in its first two episodes following Guerdy Abraira.
Earlier this year, Guerdy was diagnosed with breast cancer. She chronicled a good portion of her journey over social media. Now viewers get to see her fight through the lens of the show. Though she handled her diagnosis like a queen and a warrior, emotions still ran high.
Which is why it was such a joy for her to confirm at BravoCon 2023 that she was officially cancer-free. This week, some fans got an added glimpse into the road to being cancer-free via TikTok.
Guerdy knows “how to ring a bell”
The TikTok fan account queensofbravo posted a video on November 8, showing Guerdy in what appeared to be a treatment center standing beside a bell. A nurse off-camera instructed her to “ring it side to side,” to which Guerdy said, “Oh, I know how to ring a bell.” With that, she gave it a hearty ring as everyone in the room cheered.
Commenters on TikTok were overjoyed by the video as everyone voiced their support for the Housewife. “So happy for you Guerdy!” one wrote. “This means the world.” Everyone was able to voice their happiness and congratulations, with many empathizing with Guerdy over their loved ones who battled cancer as well.
Guerdy’s end to radiation treatment was the second time she was able to victoriously ring a bell this year. On September 14, Guerdy also rang a bell in front of family, friends, and hospital staff to celebrate the end of her chemo treatment. It was an emotional ride, to say the least. How good it is to know that Guerdy is cancer-free.
