Get ready for a little more Erika Jayne on your screens! Amid the onslaught of announcements and teasers at BravoCon, we got a glimpse at Erika’s new Real Housewives of Beverly Hills spinoff. That’s right — of all people, Erika landed a spinoff on Bravo.
We might be using the word “spinoff” pretty loosely – it’s technically just a two-part special that will take us inside her Las Vegas residency, Bet it All on Blonde. The show was selling tickets for as low as $7, so now we get to see a glimpse into what it took to put together such a highly sought-after Vegas performance.
Bet it all on Erika?
People shared the official synopsis of the show, and it’s described as a documentary with a “compilation of formal interviews and observational footage.” We should expect Erika to share a “deeply personal” narrative. We’re going to hear her talk about how her entire adult life was funded by the wrongdoings of Tom Girardi and the challenging decision to return to the stage.
Erika kicked off her Vegas residency on August 25, and it’s still running for a few select weekends throughout 2023. During the 80-minute show, she performs a medley of her hits. She described her return to the stage as a “rebirth,” so now we’ll get to see it for ourselves unfold on Bravo.
Upon the news of Erika’s new special, fans on social media had mixed reactions. A few folks shared their excitement for EJ, but others felt like Bravo was (once again) rewarding bad behavior.
One fan wrote, “No one asked for this. How do you give a spin-off to one of the most despised people on Bravo?”
Another RHOBH viewer added, “After everything she has said and done they reward her with her own show? CHOP.”
Whether you like it or not, Erika Jayne: Bet It All on Blonde premieres on Bravo in Spring 2024. In the meantime, Real Housewives of Beverly Hills airs Wednesdays at 8/7c.
