In the November 2 Southern Charm episode aptly titled “Bra-gate,” Austen Kroll was put in the familiar position of having to explain himself. This time, regarding a bra belonging to his ex-flame Olivia Flowers that was spotted on his ottoman. A mutual friend of Austen and Rod Razavi, who had been casually seeing Olivia, spotted the suspicious item.
The topic came up during a boys trip to Shep Rose’s vacation home in North Carolina. While all the seasoned cast members seemingly enabled Austen, newbie Jarett “JT” Thomas, was hell-bent on having him take responsibility.
Rod confronts Austen
“I actually had a bit of a day with Olivia,” Austen told Craig Conover. “We met up in the morning for coffee. Just to talk. Then we went to lunch.”
They hung out at Austen’s house later in the evening. And that’s when the bra came off. Though the King’s Calling Brewing founder claimed the situation was completely innocent.
Austen continued, “We watched three quarters of our favorite rom-com. Then, guess who left her f*cking bra on my little pouf.”
“If we would have hooked up, I would have told you,” Austen insisted to his friend.
The Pillows and Beer podcast host wanted to keep the evening under wraps, but Rod’s friend told the Southern Charm newbie all about it.
“I’m just going to be blunt. I’ve heard that Olivia and you hung out on Thursday,” Rod confronted Austen.
“Nothing happened. We cuddled a little bit. She gave me a big ol’ hug, she kissed me on the chest and she left,” Austen stated. “I’m not trying to get her back because I would just hurt her again.”
Unconvinced, Rod told Austen, “I’m not against you. I don’t want to see it.” Austen insisted that he wasn’t trying to “sabotage” Rod’s courtship of Olivia.
Meanwhile, Craig wanted to spread the blame evenly on both parties. “Olivia is just as guilty as Austen is,” he said. “Women aren’t these helpless f*cking sex creatures.”
This is all relevant commentary assuming that Olivia had indeed hooked up with her ex.
