Of all the Real Housewives’ husbands, none has a worse reputation than Luis Ruelas. In the feud between the Gorgas and the Giudices, Luis makes the Gorgas look like saints, and he’s slowly taking Teresa Giudice down with him. Real Housewives of New Jersey cast members and fans agree — Luis is shady as a cave.
While there are plenty of warranted reasons to criticize Luis, sometimes Real Housewives cast members will resort to anything they can to attack each other, including rumors. Especially during the reunions; cast members will claim anything to tear each other down.
For example, Melissa Gorga supposedly claimed that Louis tried to pursue Alexia Nepola before Teresa. The claim seemed to come from out of nowhere, but knowing Luis, anything might’ve been true. Now, the Real Housewives of Miami star has responded.
Alexia and Luis met twice before RHONJ
On a recent Watch What Happens Live After Show, a fan called in to ask Alexia if Luis Ruelas had reached out to her before. “No, absolutely not,” Alexia said plainly. However, there was some history there. “We saw each other in Barcelona,” she explained, “before he was with Teresa.”
Andy Cohen asked how she knew who Louie was. “I didn’t,” she responded. “He knew who I was.” Andy asked for further clarification. Alexia went on, “We were just talking. We were staying in the same hotel and he was just being, like, nice and friendly. And, you know, I get a lot of attention because of my kids.”
She continued, “He can relate. He has an autistic son, so he can relate to my journey.” Alexia went on to say that Luis complimented her on her skills as a mother. After the fact, they ended up meeting again while traveling, but she “was with Todd the entire time.” Garcelle Beauvais, seated next to Alexia, said, “A little sus.”
