Part II of the Real Housewives of New York Season 14 reunion aired on Bravo on Sunday, October 29. The two-part RHONY reunion covered all the hot topics from this season, including Erin Lichy and Ubah Hassan‘s infamous fight in Anguilla and Jenna Lyons’ top-secret love life. Here are all the RHONY Season 14 reunion surprises and highlights.
Erin’s Apology Tour
Erin was definitely the biggest pot stirrer this season. The New York native was constantly involved in conflict with the other women, and most of the time, she started it. Love that for her.
Erin came across as strong-willed, opinionated, and a little bit stubborn, so her passiveness at the reunion came as a total surprise to us. We expected Erin to have a solid defense strategy prepared to justify her actions this season, but instead, she mostly just dealt out apologies left and right to her co-stars.
At the end of the reunion, Erin said she needs to work on her delivery after realizing how her words hurt the other women. Noooo!! Erin, never change! Self-awareness is never good for a Real Housewife. This season would’ve been nothing without your pot-stirring ways! We’re hoping Erin forgets all the lessons she learned this season and we get our drama queen back next year.
Ubah Came in HOT
Ubah was not holding anything back at the reunion, especially when it came to the Anguilla phone drama from hell. The model was still upset at Erin for taking her phone during the girls’ trip and proceeded to go on a whole rant about the prank gone wrong.
The conversation got so intense that Ubah started crying, and Erin rushed over to comfort her friend.
Brynn’s Three-Time Engagement Storyline Got Crazier
Brynn Whitfield caught fans’ attention this season when she revealed she had previously been engaged…three times. Could she be any more iconic?
Fans met one of Brynn’s ex-fiancés this season when she spent the day with her former beau, Gideon Lang-Laddie. The chemistry between the two was palpable and many fans wondered why she didn’t marry him.
At the reunion, Andy Cohen asked Brynn about her three engagements, and she revealed that all three of her former fiancés proposed to her while they were broken up. WHAT? Andy totally brushed passed this information, calling it “romantic.”
He quickly moved on from the topic but we were at home like “Whaaatttt?” We knew the Gideon story. She had a boyfriend, Gideon proposed to her, she had to tell her boyfriend she was engaged to another man. SUPER awkward. But to find out that scenario has happened to Brynn two other times is crazy to us.
Sai Came for Jessel’s Marriage…Again
Jessel Taank‘s marriage was a major topic of discussion this season. The girls could not stop gossiping about Jessel and Pavit. It got boring pretty quickly and sort of felt like high school girls talking behind their friend’s back.
Erin was apologetic about the whole thing at the reunion but Sai De Silva got in one last dig, telling Jessel that she doesn’t “see a connection” between her and her husband, Pavit. Ouch.
The Women Didn’t Want Jenna on the Show
In Part I of the reunion, Ubah announced that the other women didn’t want Jenna Lyons on the show. The remark was totally out of nowhere, and even Andy was confused. Andy dismissed the claim and proceeded with his questions. Thankfully, Jenna circled back to the claim at the end of the reunion.
Sai addressed the remark, saying that she, Erin, and Jessel initially had reservations about whether Jenna would fit into the group.
“Before we met Jenna, us three, I believe, said, ‘Oh, I don’t think she’s going to fit into the group,’” Sai said, referring to herself, Erin, and Jessel. “Which, I stood by that at that time. I didn’t think you were going to fit into the group. I thought you were a wild card—you are a wild card—everybody said it.”
“Yeah, because you’re like a professional, normal person, and we’re all nuts,” Erin added.
The women said that they made an assumption because they didn’t know the fashion maven personally prior to filming.
