Kristin Cavallari’s recent visit to Los Angeles sounds like the plotline of an episode of The Hills. It’s a far cry from the business owner/mommy life depicted in her last series Very Cavallari. But she’s an independent woman these days and can make her own choices.
On the October 24 episode of her Let’s Be Honest podcast, Kristin admitted to having “the second one-night stand of my entire life.” She quickly added, “By the way, before you guys want to f*ckking judge me … I’m almost 37 years old. This is the second one I’ve had in my entire life.”
The very next morning, Kristin went to meet an ex-boyfriend, comedian Jeff Dye, for coffee. When Jeff showed up, he admitted to being “kind of still drunk” from the night before. Then a police officer arrived and arrested him for leaving the scene of an accident and driving under the influence.
A night out with the Aussie rugby team
Kristin’s wild weekend started on Friday when she met up with a group of girlfriends for a Girls’ Night. After dinner, the ladies went to the bar for a drink. When Kristin took one of her girlfriends to the dancefloor, they were suddenly “flanked by the Australian rugby team.”
After hanging out with the footballers, Kristin and her friend went with them to another bar. She had an instant connection with one member of the team, who she’s calling “Kyle” to protect his identity. She and “Kyle” started making out, and at 3:00 a.m. she invited him back to her room.
Saying she’s in her “fun single” phase, Kristin added, “The lack of sex I’ve had in my life over the last three and half years is f*cking sad, so you know what? Yeah, I had a one-night stand. F*cking sue me.”
Police action in the coffee shop
The next morning when she went to meet Jeff for coffee, he reportedly showed up late and “disheveled.” Apparently, he got into a collision on his way to meet Kristin and just continued on his way.
When the police arrived at the coffee shop, one of them told her, “There was a report of a hit-and-run down the street, and he matches the description of the guy.” Before she realized what was happening, Jeff was in handcuffs and they took him away.
It wasn’t until Monday morning that Kristin woke up to a voice message from Jeff that he “just got out of jail.” Jeff told her that he’d hit “a pole” (which later turned out to be a tree) and blew “over the limit” on the Breathalyzer. He has a court date. And his car is history.
Kristin’s longtime BFF, celebrity hairstylist Justin Anderson, joined her on the podcast to comment on her wild weekend. “No one would believe that all of this happened in that short period of time,” he said. “The amount of stuff that happened in 24 hours with you in LA, I’m like, what is going on?”
