Sutton Stracke is known for speaking her mind on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. So, it isn’t surprising that she weighed in on the rumors about Kyle Richards’ estranged husband, Mauricio Umansky, and his Dancing with the Stars partner, Emma Slater.
Mauricio and Emma were spotted having dinner and then holding hands. The DWTS duo took to social media to deny the romance rumors. But their odd and awkward video just made them seem guilty. “When we came out of dinner, we were recapping and I reached out to grab Emma’s hand, and she grabbed my hand, and we, you know, walked to the cars just recapping and summarizing, and then the paparazzi caught that moment,” Mauricio said in the video.
Kyle discussed seeing the photos during her appearance on Watch What Happens Live. “That hurt my feelings. The thing is this: I don’t know if anything has happened yet, but obviously, there’s something there,” she stated. While Mauricio and Kyle’s split was amicable, I’m sure seeing the photos caused tensions to rise.
Sutton doesn’t believe that Mauricio is romancing Emma
Kyle’s RHOBH co-star, Sutton, was a guest on Page Six’s Virtual Reali-Tea podcast. Naturally, she was asked about the photos of Mauricio and Emma holding hands.
“I haven’t seen those pictures,” Sutton stated. “Y’all know me. I don’t read all these tabloids and stuff, so I haven’t seen it.”
She continued, “Somebody told me about it this morning and I was like, ‘That could mean anything.’ Like, I hold hands with people all the time.” But these dance partners have chemistry. And they aren’t afraid to straddle each other during a performance.
“I hold married men’s hands that I’m close to,” Sutton said. “They’re my friends, so you don’t know what the meaning of that is. So that’s the question: What’s the meaning of this?”
Exactly! All I know for sure is that Mauricio’s attempt to laugh off the incident didn’t cast him in a good light.
Dancing with the Stars continues Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC and Disney+, while Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 13 continues on Wednesdays at 8/7c on Bravo.
