So, in a hilarious twist, Austen Kroll admitted in the latest episode of Southern Charm that he’s not all that happy about seeing Olivia Flowers with Rod Razavi following their split. Gee, maybe he should have thought of that before kissing Taylor Ann Green.
“Watching Rod and Olivia together, I think that whole thing is weird,” Austen confessed during the latest episode. “I’m not really too thrilled with it.”
Moving on and mending relationships
Austen struggled to watch his ex-girlfriend move on in front of him all evening, keeping a close eye on her while she giggled and cozied up to Rod. And, sorry, but no one can blame her.
For her part, Olivia confessed that while she seemed to be on good terms with Austen, she hadn’t fully forgiven him for kissing her BFF while they were trying to work out their relationship.
“I expected this from Austen,” she said of the indiscretion. “I didn’t expect it from Taylor. So it’s easy to mend with Austen.” However, she quickly clarified, “I’m not forgiving him, but the cut’s not as deep as it is with Taylor.”
As for the former BFFs, according to Olivia, her relationship with Taylor, 28, is what she is working on hopefully “putting back together.”
Awkward all around
No one can blame Olivia for wanting to move on and put Austen in her rearview. Austen and Taylor were the subject of hookup rumors early in 2023 but denied everything. Finally, during an episode of Southern Charm, the pair admitted that they kissed in 2022.
The admission caused awkwardness all around as not only are Olivia and Taylor close, but Austen is also close with Taylor’s ex, Shep Rose, whom she dated for two years. Not to mention, Olivia cried on Taylor’s shoulder after she and Austen called it quits.
So it’s been quite drama-filled on the show as both pairs of ex-lovers defined their new normal.
Rod, who has seen this all firsthand, confessed to Olivia that he wasn’t surprised by Austen’s flip-flopping and changing his story about his relationship with Taylor.
“I’m used to how they play,” he said. “I like to live by a code and handle myself a certain way.” A statement to which Olivia replied, “It’s called values and morals.” Yup, you said it, Olivia!
Her answer made Rod smile, and he added, “Austen’s decision-making is all about him. He is always the victim in his eyes. And he’s always the cause of the problem, every time.”
To lighten the mood, Rod ended his date with Olivia by promising her that should their relationship go anywhere; he wouldn’t make out with Taylor Ann. Too soon? I guess not because Olivia found that funny.
Southern Charm airs on Bravo every Thursday at 9:00 p.m. ET.
