This season on Winter House, our guy Tom Schwartz is on the rebound. Tom decided he’s going from one Katie to another. He’s fresh off his divorce from Katie Maloney, and based on what we know about Season 3 of Winter House, he’s about to rebound with Katie Flood.
When Tom visited the house in Season 2, he had just been served divorce papers, but he was afraid to admit that to his friends. Fast forward to Season 3, and Tom is fully divorced and ready to let loose.
For some of us watching at home, it might seem a little odd for Tom to be moving on so publicly. It feels so fast, right? However, his co-star Brian Benni recently shared his full support of their fling. He recently chatted with E! News and shared his perspective on Tom’s winter romance.

Bravo filmed Season 3 of Winter House just a week after the news of Tom Sandoval’s affair went viral. With Tom’s close connection to Scandoval and his recent divorce, Schwartz came into this vacation with a ton of baggage. Katie from Below Deck Mediterranean popped into his life at just the right time.
It might have been the New Zealand accent, or maybe Tom just has a weakness for brunettes named Katie, but the stage is fully set for these two to have an on-camera fling this season. It’s been heavily teased in the trailer, but is it too soon for Tom to hook up with another Katie? Family Karma’s Brian doesn’t think so.
“He needed some positivity,” Brian told the outlet. “He had his tail between his legs with Sandoval and Katie and all that stuff coming into Winter House, so he needed a boost of love.”
Apparently, Katie was just the right person to give him that boost. In a confessional interview during the Season 3 premiere, she admitted that didn’t even know who Schwartz was. It didn’t take long for that to change.
