Lenny Hochstein Owes Lisa Six-Figure Sum After She Moved Out of Mansion

Now would be a great time to remind everyone that Lenny Hochstein continues to reign as one of the worst househusbands of all time, and Lisa had a lucky escape. A quick recap: the soon-to-be-ex of Real Housewives of Miami star Lisa Hochstein cheated on her and then tried to kick her out of their mansion.

The cheating itself (an affair with a much younger model) played out last season of RHOM. A shell-shocked Lisa leaned hard on her castmates and friends to try and cope with the betrayal. Since the initial break-up, Lenny has done plenty to try and hurt Lisa financially.

But karma was on Lisa’s side yesterday. Page Six reports that a judge told Lenny, ‘too bad so sad,’ when it came to his request to rescind the original marital settlement he proposed. So what does that mean? Part of it requires Lenny to give Lisa the $125,000 he promised her as a reimbursement for furniture when she moved out of their house.

Lenny Hochstein’s motion against Lisa is “moot”

Back in August, Lenny attempted to go back on his deal with Lisa, prompting him to file an “emergency” motion instead of going through mediation. The judge ruled Lenny’s motion “moot.”

For her part, Lisa filed her own documents to refute Lenny’s claims that she took “the bulk” of “furnishings, artwork, and household items” when she left their multimillion-dollar Star Island home. Her new home is a $32k-a-month Miami condo.

Lisa wrote in her filing that she only took a “reasonable” amount of items from the home and that it only added up to 10 or 15 percent of the couple’s marital estate. Does anyone else want to know what art they are fighting over? I definitely do.

The court documents filed by Lisa read, “[Lenny] clearly has the ability to reimburse [Lisa] for the moving expenses she incurred, and his refusal to do so is yet another example of [Lenny] attempting to publicly hurt and punish [Lisa] by refusing to fulfill his financial obligations to her.”

The RHOM star’s attorney said in a statement, “It is unfortunate that Lenny continues to unnecessarily utilize the parties’ financial resources to litigate, instead of conserving those resources for the parties’ children.” The couple share two young children together.

Real Housewives of Miami will premiere on Bravo on November 1 at 9 p.m. ET.
