Kandi Burruss is making new business moves with an athleisure line. Real Housewives of Atlanta might be between seasons, but that hasn’t stopped Kandi from hustling. Of course, making moves outside of TV is in her best interest right now.
The fate of RHOA remains uncertain. Season 15 saw some unfortunately low viewership, and now, many fans have called for a complete reboot, Real Housewives of New York style. Kandi has come out and said that a reboot wouldn’t satisfy fans, but many disagree.
Still, if anyone had the right to say such a thing, it would be Kandi. The woman has been on RHOA since Season 2, and she shows no signs of retiring. Of course, it’s all up in the air at this point. So, Kandi was smart to branch out with her new athleisure wear.

On October 17, Kandi posted a YouTube short to her KandiOnline account, wherein Kandi stood on a green screen track. The post was captioned, “I’m about to headbutt this bish!” which was also what Kandi said at the short’s opening. It’s taken from the last season of RHOA, but there was (thankfully) no Courtney Rhodes in sight. The video showed new versions of Kandi coming into frame to headbutt the previous version out of frame.
Each new version of Kandi was dressed in a different outfit, now offered via her store, Tags Boutique. Kandi’s fans loved the whacky premise of the video. As one user wrote, “Chef’s kiss, just hysterical.” Another said, “I respect kandi’s ability to execute!” Moreover, there was plenty of support for the clothes.
As one commenter wrote, “Kudos for such a swift execution with a line I can afford and be Cute!” Other users had to draw comparisons to SHE by Shereé, which is Shereé Whitfield’s brand of athletic wear. As one fan said, “This is Kandi’s way of getting back at Sheree is hilarious hit them where it hurts them coins.”
