Vanderpump Rules alum Rachel Leviss has really come full circle. This woman has gone through all of the journeys since she basically blew up Bravo. Thanks to Rachel and Tom Sandoval, Pump Rules got a Season 11 and an Emmy nomination.
And now Scandoval is over. Time has passed and everyone has moved on. In an effort to shed the last bit of evidence from her sordid acts of betrayal, Rachel auctioned off some notable momentos on eBay. Now Rachel says goodbye to an old hoodie and a moderately ugly gold necklace but she’s saying hello to an enormous donation to NAMI. Radar has the details.
Rachel’s Reckoning
Rachel ultimately quit the show and she didn’t walk away a winner. She spent months receiving mental health care from an Arizona facility after being obliterated in the Season 10 reunion. Rach also cut off all cast members from VPR, including Sandoval when she dipped off the grid.
But apparently, there is a light at the end of the tunnel for someone who not only hit rock bottom, she was buried underneath the rubble. In an effort to give back to the mental health community, Rachel sold some stuff that reflects who she used to be.
On the bright side, the Scandoval swag earned an impressive $14,800 for the mental health charity, National Alliance on Mental Illness. While the auction ended just before midnight on Tuesday, it was an all-out bidding war.
She had two TomTom bedazzled hoodies. Those went for $9500 and had 122 bids.
The description said, “The infamous three tone topaz on black TomTom hoodie is the one I wore day three at Bravo-Con and is also the same style hoodie I boldly gave to Andy Cohen on WWHL the night everything blew up in my face. I added the black hoodie to the listing since it is more worn and not in pristine condition.” Additionally, the hoodies were signed by Rachel.
And get this, the 14k lightning bolt necklace went for $5,300 and 131 bidders. Who knew a small gold lightning bolt necklace would cost $765 retail? That’s a lot of money to spend on a symbol associated with Sandoval.
“This necklace was symbolic of my devotion to another person who I allowed to have power over me. He no longer does,” Rachel wrote in the ad. 100% of the proceeds went towards NAMI and Rachel didn’t pocket any of the spoils. This is what “letting go” looks like and congrats on her efforts.
At this time there has been no apology from Sandoval for recording Rachel without her consent. We’ll wait.
