Paris Hilton is a lot more than pink velour tracksuits and tiny purse dogs. She’s a mogul in every sense of the word and was long before she had connections on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Paris is an heiress who has lived a wilder life than most of us can imagine. Now that she’s a mom and entering into a new phase of life, she’s also revealing even more truths about her past.
Paris has been remarkably vulnerable in her life — the good, the bad, and the ugly. It’s even truer lately after the release of her latest book Paris: The Memoir. In it, she details horrific abuse, much of which occurred after her parents sent her to a boarding school for troubled teens. Paris also has been open about the complicated relationship she has with her mom Kathy Hilton, especially after she opened up about the details of the abuse. Now, she’s sharing even more of her raw story.
According to Page Six, Paris wrote in her new memoir about another instance of horrific abuse she endured as a child. She talked about having an eighth-grade teacher she dubbed “Mr. Abercrombie” who she candidly said had a crush on her. Paris said she and the teacher would secretly communicate and it crossed several lines. “Mr. Abercrombie called me almost every night, and we talked for hours about how amazingly mature, beautiful and intelligent I was, how sensual, misunderstood and special,” Paris explained.

One time when Kathy and Rick Hilton were out of town, Mr. Abercrombie visited Paris at her family home. Her teacher kissed her and her parents caught the two in his car once they returned home. The abusive teacher put the blame on a young Paris and she remembers him asking her “‘Why did [she] make [him] do this?'” Disgusting.
The situation with her teacher was just another sad instance of Paris‘ life that got swept under the rug. Her parents sent her to live with her grandmother that summer and they didn’t discuss the relationship. Paris revealed that it took her years to even recognize what had happened was abuse. “Casting him in the role of child molester meant casting myself in the role of victim, and I just couldn’t go there,” she wrote. Again, just heartbreaking that Paris has endured so much in her life. The way she bravely speaks out will likely resonate and help a lot of people who have experienced similar situations.
