Former Bachelorette Star Hannah Brown Talks “Special Forces” Finale & Big Move With Boyfriend Adam Woolard

Hannah Brown is feeling great about her life these days.

Not only did she compete on Fox TV’s Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test, a reality competition that puts celebrity contestants through military training, but Miss Alabama USA 2018 made it all the way to the finale, outlasting athletic competitors such as NBA player Dwight Howard and former British free-style skier Gus Kenworthy.

On Wednesday, March 1, 2023 the season finale of Special Forces aired, bringing the physically and mentally demanding competition to a close. In the end, Hannah shared the win with two-time Olympic gold medalist and two-time World Cup Champion Carli Lloyd.

“Going into it, I was like, ‘No pressure, because no one is going to expect me to be the best,'” Hannah told People. “It was harder than anything I’d ever done. But now, I know that I can get through anything. And I’m more resilient than I ever thought I was.”

During filming, the Tuscaloosa native’s biggest supporter was her boyfriend of two years, fashion sales director Adam Woolard. “He was like, ‘This is so badass,'” Hannah said of her boyfriend and live-in partner. “And I knew that even if I failed, I had to keep going. I took it on the shoulder, and I pushed past it. I’m proud of myself for that!”

Bachelor Nation first met Hannah when she competed for Colton Underwood’s affections on Season 23 of The Bachelor. She was eliminated in week 7, the same night she met Colton’s family in Denver, Colorado.

The University of Alabama alum (#Roll Tide) went on to star in Season 15 of The Bachelorette. She ended the season engaged to Nashville-based musician Jed Wyatt, but the relationship was called off shortly after filming ended when it was discovered that Jed already had a girlfriend (who coincidentally is now married to Hannah’s brother Patrick).

Hannah next joined the cast of Season 28 of Dancing with the Stars, where she was teamed up with dance pro Alan Bersten. The beauty queen and her partner waltzed and quick-stepped their way to the championship. Hannah took home the coveted Mirror Ball trophy.

These days, Hannah and Adam are settled in Los Angeles, but are planning a move to Nashville later this year. “I’m excited. I always thought I’d live in Nashville, and Adam has lived there before. It’s three hours from home [in Tuscaloosa, Alabama] and there is a groundedness about it that I really love,” reveals the former interior decorator.

“I’ve loved my time in LA,” she added, “but we’re doing something new. It’s an adventure!” And Adam, who she says has been “a blessing” in her life, will make the perfect partner on that journey. “Everything with us has been so easy,” she says. “I think I’m more the messy one, but he just laughs about it.”

She continued, “He’s helpful, he cleans, cooks, does everything. He checks off things I didn’t even know I wanted. And he’s my partner in everything.”

The future looks rosy for Hannah. I wish her nothing but continued happiness.
