Ok, well this was not the reunion I had on my Real Housewives bingo card this year. But former friends Jacqueline Laurita and Teresa Giudice recently reunited and apparently, things went swimmingly.
While the two started strong with years of friendship under their belt, by the time Jacqueline left Real Housewives of New Jersey, they couldn’t stand each other. Friendship over! And Teresa has openly said the two haven’t spoken in years.
Now Page Six is reporting that the duo, who once dubbed themselves Lucy and Ethel, reunited with their husbands in Las Vegas. Both of their husbands, Chris Laurita and Luis “Louie” Ruelas were along for the ride. Which also went well, according to Jacqueline.
Louie posted a picture of himself with Chris and captioned it, “This weekend I got a chance to meet this amazing guy.” Jacquline gushed in the comments, “It was such a pleasure meeting you. I love how open you are to always learning, growing and evolving. I respect that!” She also called Louie a “kind, open, positive, caring person.”

The former housewife also went on to say that it was “obvious” how much Teresa and Louie “love and adore each other.” The newlyweds were married in front of Bravo cameras in August of 2022.
As if that wasn’t enough praise, Jacqueline shared that she “connected and bonded” with Louie over their “beautiful” sons. Both are named Nicholas and both are autistic. She concluded, “Chris and I are looking forward to creating many new happy memories with you and Teresa in the future! 4 Taurus[es] unite!”
Teresa and Jacqueline also posed for pictures together, which they both shared to their Instagram accounts. Tre wrote, “5 hour lunch! Lots to talk about. Lots of laughs too! Reunited and it feels so good!”
Fans went wild in the comments and suggested that the unexpected reunion might be Jacqueline’s return to the RHONJ franchise. But Jacqueline doused those speculations with cold water. She stated that she “[doesn’t] want back on” because she lives in Vegas. She also revealed that she is “moving to Orange County in [California]” in the summer.
Another theory fans floated was that “Lucy and Ethel” had joined forces again over their shared issue with Melissa Gorga. Jacqueline responded that their renewed friendship had “nothing to do with” their “mutual disdain” for Melissa.
Said Jacqueline, “Teresa and I had a great friendship BEFORE the show and now that all the stress, toxicity, outside influences, and pressures from being on a show together are gone, and life is good for both of us, it is easier to forgive and maintain a friendship. It’s that simple.”
She then happily concluded, “#NewBeginnings for REAL this time! Lucy and Ethel are BACK and living our BEST lives. Life is good!”
