While many of us are in the midst of fighting frigid winter temperatures, it’s almost time for another round of heat on Summer House. The show is gearing up for it’s seventh season. It will seemingly have more tension and shifting dynamics than a wound-up Kyle Cooke wearing a sloppy mullet wig. We can expect to see the falling out between Lindsay Hubbard and Danielle Olivera, as well as HubbHouse’s ever-growing love bubble with Carl Radke.
Lindsay and Carl’s romantic relationship has progressed at lightning speed. Sure, the two have history. But it gives me whiplash to think that they’re planning to wed this year. Despite being the three amigos in the past, Danielle has been mum about her two besties falling in love love love. And based on the Summer House Season 7 trailer, it seems like the relationship might be causing tension between Carlito and his boss (AKA Kyle).

The trailer shows a few snippets of Carl and Kyle fighting. It seems to be about a variety of things, between work and play. Carl has been working with LoverBoy for almost as long as Kyle and Amanda Batula. While the working relationship is stress-inducing, Kyle recently assured Page Six that he and Carlito are good as gold.
Cookie admitted that the relationship between himself and Carl gets “raw” at times, but it’s not friendship-ending stuff. “Carl and I have nothing but love and respect for one another and everyone’s gonna see that,” Kyle said.
He continued to talk about the strain of working with not only his wife but also his bestie for life. “I want to remind people that that in itself is not normal, and then you put it on TV, and it’s another level of crazy,” he explained. He has a point there — no wonder he’s so stressed out all of the time.
Kyle didn’t comment on the tension between Amanda and Lindsay. We know Amanda pretty much thinks Lindsay is a big ol’ meanie to fans, which made Lindsay upset. HubbHouse has appeared at several LoverBoy meet-and-greets, but the comment could have made her pull back from her involvement in the already incestuous business.
Amanda did say that she’s interested to watch the tension between her hubby and Carl play out on TV. “They definitely go through it this summer, and it’s going to be interesting to watch both sides instead of the one side that I’ve heard,” she said. I don’t know about you, but all of this drama makes me crave a LoverBoy and a Summer House marathon.
