NeNe Leakes is no stranger to people coming for her over the past years, but this time the former Real Housewives of Atlanta has a different kind of beef. According to Page Six this time, with the photo editing app Facetune throwing shade her direction, NeNe is trying to figure out how to “Boop!” them through her phone.
“Loving on me! Yung 404,” the self-proclaimed Queen of the Georgia Peaches captioned a shot of herself standing in front of lush greenery in a white tank top. Where the shade came in is when Facetune’s official Instagram posted “We are loving you,” in the comments of NeNe’s picture. In true “I said what I said” form, the reality vet shot back, “Um this is a professional photo shoot. Stop the madness.”
The super popular phone app has made it way easier for users to be able to edit, enhance and retouch their own photos. Basically the app can be used to whiten teeth, smooth skin flaws and snatch waists. NeNe’s artistic flare, or telling-tale whatever your take on it, showed when the whiteness of her eyes outshined her white shirt and her skin appeared smoother than Porsha William’s transition from friend-to-fiancé. This is not the first time the “very rich” star has been accused of posting edited shots of herself though, so again, the Internet proceeded to live for the shade.
The reads poured in, with comments like, “Not Facetune stirring up drama,” “Lmao! Props to Facetune for that comment” and “LMFAO THE CLAP BACK OF 2022. Facetune for the WIN.” “Is that really Nene” and “Edited and doesn’t look like that,” was other posts. While over on Twitter, one comment even encouraged NeNe to “do a masterclass in Facetune smoothing.”
