Vanderpump Rules viewers know that “OG” stars Kristen Doute and Stassi Schroeder were fired from the show for racist behavior in June of 2020. They called the police on VPR co-star Faith Stowers, alleging that she stole clothing and credit cards. Obviously, Faith was innocent.
Beau Clark finally popped the question in July of 2019 as Pump Rules cameras rolled. The romantic location? A cemetery. So very Stassi.
In June of 2020, Stassi and Beau announced that they were expecting a baby. The couple had planned an extravagant wedding in Italy, but the plans were scuttled because of the coronavirus pandemic.
Instead, the duo tied the knot in a low-key backyard wedding. Stassi posted a video clip to Instagram. She wrote in the caption, “Today would’ve been our wedding day. We went and did it anyway. -Married sept 2020 -Hopefully Italian dream wedding oct 2021.” In January of 2021, Beau and Stassi welcomed their daughter, Hartford Charlie Rose Clark.
Stassi recently revealed that a Pump Rules spinoff was being developed before she was pink-slipped, and her Italian wedding was going to be the bridge between the shows.
On May 12, 2022, Stassi and Beau finally had their dream wedding in Rome. But there was still controversary surrounding the festivities. The only Pump Rules co-stars who attended the Italian nuptials were Katie Maloney and her estranged husband, Tom Schwartz.
RealityBlurb! posted a screenshot of Kristen responding to a fan who said they were sad that Kristen wasn’t invited to Stassi’s wedding. “I did get invited and I was lucky to be at the small wedding,” Kristen replied. “We have a wedding here we had already booked.” Sure thing, girl. Kristen, who was in Hawaii at the time, posted a wedding photo of Stassi and Beau in her Instagram Story. “Look at this ethereal beauty! Love you [Stassi Schroeder],” Kristen wrote. RealityBlurb! once again shared the screenshot.
Page Six reported that during a live taping of Scheana Shay’s podcast, Scheanigans, Tom Sandoval stated that he was never even invited. A source who was present at the taping claimed that Scheana was “disinvited.” The insider remarked, “All she knew was that it was for ‘budget reasons,’ although it didn’t really seem like she was buying it.”
According to US Weekly, Stassi broke down the reason for limiting her wedding guest list on the Skinny Confidential Him & Her podcast. “It was supposed to be on Vanderpump Rules,” Stassi explained of her Italian wedding. The couple brought one of the Pump Rules producers with them to check out venues. “I couldn’t just go wedding plan myself with Beau.”
After the hotel, ceremony venue and reception location were all booked, Stassi was fired and the Covid-19 pandemic restricted travel.
“Bravo didn’t pay for this s–t. [We had to] cut 70 percent of the guest list because it’s too expensive,” Stassi explained. “Now it is a 35-person wedding in Rome in a location that’s meant for a s–t ton of people.”
Stassi admitted that she was “cutthroat” about whittling down her guest list. “Honestly, everyone’s been pretty understanding,” Stassi remarked. “We sent out an email, like, ‘Yo, times are tough, we can’t have a 200-person wedding. This doesn’t mean that we don’t like you, but you’re not part of my 35 top people.’” Well, damn! So classy.
Stassi revealed who she is still friends with among her former VPR co-stars. “Katie, like I said, is my baby’s godmother,” the author stated. “She’s one of my closest friends.”
She continued, “I’m friends with Kristen but it’s not the same. We’re all going in different directions. Our lives are so different.” Stassi added, “I don’t have time to be a Witch of Weho.”
Does that mean that Kristen wasn’t actually invited to Stassi’s wedding? It seems like that might be the case.
TELL US- ARE YOU SURPRISED THAT STASSI DISINVITED PEOPLE BECAUSE OF HER BUDGET? WAS KRISTEN INVITED TO STASSI’S WEDDING?
