The Grande Dame returns! Karen Huger is obviously an integral part of the Real Housewives of Potomac. She joined the cast season 1 and despite a rocky start, won over fans and became a housewives favorite. So much so that she recently landed her own spin-off on Bravo. The two part series, called Karen’s Grande Dame Reunion, gave us some personal insight into Karen and her family. The beloved Surrey County star shows her return to the area where she reunites with her family. They get into the history of the family, along with the future of their large estate, Wooden Farm.
So how do Karen’s RHOP costars feel about Karen’s latest contribution to the network? As reported by Reality Blurb, Karen had some shade to throw. She stated, “RHOP, they’re my friends. I can put them in timeout for as long as I want, hello! As long as necessary.”
But it’s not all shade. Karen admits that she’s gotten love from a few members of the cast. Because according to Karen, her success is their success too. Karen revealed, “I’ve got huge support from Mia [Thornton]. Wendy [Osefo] has supported me, and that’s what I focus on. And actually, Ashley [Darby], absolutely super proud of me. And that means a lot to me.” She added, “But those who don’t have anything to say, I think that’s best kept to themselves, because it’s not necessary because it’s not going to stop the Karen Huger train. Because let’s talk about this. When I do well, RHOP will do well. So, when I open a door, perhaps another one of my colleagues can walk through that door. So, you’re welcome!” The Grande Dame is as humble as ever, I see!
As far as season 7 of RHOP, which has reportedly been filming, Karen is remaining coy about what to expect. The blogs have been gossiping about a feud between Karen and Candiace Dillard. Candiace also might have her hands full with OG and Shade Assassin Gizelle Bryant. And the biggest news of all – the recent announcement from Ashley that she’s separating from husband Michael Darby.
Said Karen of her castmates, “Until you do me wrong, I’m good with you. I actually feel very hopeful about moving forward, so we’ll see. You’ve got to stay tuned. I know you want to know, don’t you? I want to tell you so bad!” Alas, we will just have to wait. But it sounds like it will be worth it.
