Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum Teddi Mellencamp has been busy ever since she stepped out of her father, John Mellencamp’s shadow. She was fired from the show after three seasons. RHOBH co-star Sutton Stracke called Teddi “boring,” and viewers seemed to agree.
Teddi joined the cast of Celebrity Big Brother for Season 3. But not for long. She was the first person voted out of the house.
Last season, Teddi appeared on the holiday party episode of RHOBH. During the dinner, she defended Erika Jayne against the barrage of questions from her co-stars. Teddi also makes a quickie appearance on the upcoming season, but she isn’t interested in doing any more cameos or being a Friend of the Housewives.
Teddi is co-hosting the Two T’s In A Pod podcast with former Real Housewives of Orange County star Tamra Judge. These ladies are as messy as possible and bash everyone, including any and all Housewives.
Ever since Andy Cohen announced that Real Housewives of New York was being rebooted, and that there would be a RHONY: Legacy spin-off featuring former cast members, there has been chatter about who should return.
Tamra did some speculating about who she would cast on a legacy version of RHOC on SiriusXM’s Jeff Lewis Live. “I would actually like Teddi… I would like to go back to Orange County and bring Teddi as a friend. Because you know she has a house… a nice house in Dana Point on the ocean,” Tamra stated. A confused Jeff Lewis asked, “Who is this?” Another host responded, “Teddi Mellencamp.”
Jeff said, “Oh.” Tamra wasn’t putting up with any shade. “Oh, you’re such a dick,” she commented. Another host said, Two T’s In A Pod to a still baffled Jeff.
“Oh…because we were talking about Real Housewives of Orange County,” Jeff remarked. Tamra said, “I know. She’s got a house in Orange County.” And then the fog cleared. “Oh…so you want to make her… oh okay… an OC Housewife,” Jeff said. “Got it. Got it.” Finally!

Tamra went on to explain why Teddi would shine on RHOC. “A friend [of]. Yeah. I believe…I’ve always felt this even before I met her that I felt like she would be better on OC than she was on Beverly Hills, ’cause she is funny,” Tamra stated.
“But if you’re doing like OGs, then you go way back,” Jeff clarified. “No, we were going back and forth,” Tamra said of the conversation. Jeff added, “I’m confused. Okay.”
Tamra and her ride-or-ride Vicki Gunvalson left RHOC after Season 14 when they were demoted. Both ladies are part of Season 2 of Peacock’s the Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip, and even room together. The group of former Housewives is staying at Dorinda Medley’s Blue Stone Manor in the Bezerkshires. There was plenty of drama between RHOBH alum Brandi Glanville and Vicki. Tamra even hesitated to join the cast because of Brandi. But now they are on good terms.
I doubt that Tamra and Teddi will nab an invite to join RHOC, but with all the Housewives spin-offs, anything is possible.
