Kelly Dodd really seems to have it out for the current cast of Real Housewives of Orange County. Or maybe “have it out” isn’t the right phrasing. I should probably say she’s OBSESSED. There’s no doubt that the fired housewife might be feeling bitter. But she’s tweeting, podcasting and using every opportunity she has to go after her former castmates and this season’s ratings. Is it a ploy to stay relevant? Because clearly she has nothing going on. Or is it just flat out jealously? I’m going to guess a little bit a lot of both.
Lately, Kelly really seems to take issue with Gina Kirschenheiter. When a fan recently made a nasty tweet about Gina, referring to her as a “stray dog” and a “charity case,” Kelly chimed in with “Exactly.” The fan also ripped on Gina for never hosting a cast party. Which finally happened last week, with the launch of her skincare line. So when Gina appeared on Watch What Happens Live, and Andy Cohen asked her about Kelly’s words, Gina didn’t hold back. She stated, “I mean, I just don’t even care. She didn’t host anything, either, and she’s just, I don’t know. I feel worse for her than I do for Shannon [Beador].” Gina added,“My argument would be, yes, OK, I didn’t host anything, so I guess you’re saying I’m just enough without hosting anything or the money and the over-the-top stuff. Sorry I’m enough, ya know?”
As reported by Page Six, Kelly snapped back on Twitter. I’m assuming she’s at home watching, with a bottle of wine in one hand and her phone open to Twitter in the other. She tweeted at Gina, “#rhoc @GKirschenheiter don’t feel sorry for me!! I feel sorry for your 6 kids being packed into 2 bdrms!!” Kelly went on to brag, “My daughter has traveled the world, lived in the best places & houses & had the best education!!” Kelly is such an elitist. As if that’s the only way to have a good childhood.
Kelly then took a jab at Gina’s skincare line, “Go on w/your fake skin care line you can buy at Rite Aid #salicylicacid.” So, let’s get this straight – Kelly, who was peddling WATER practically for free at Target, is coming for Gina for her skincare line. Got it. Did I mention Kelly was fired from said water company? She can’t even do water right.
Finally, a fan tweeted, “Gina threw Kelly and Shannon right to the side for Heather [Dubrow]” and that “those are the girls you have to watch out for.” Kelly simply responded by calling Gina, “fake, fake, fake.” And then I’m going to guess she flew off on her broom to go leave dog poop on Heather’s doorstep.
Kelly might think lesser of Gina for her financials but it seems to me like Gina is just fine with her life. After all, her tagline this season is, “I’ve still got a small house, but I’m living large!” And it does look like there is one thing Gina has that Kelly can’t seem to find – happiness.
TELL US – WHY DO YOU THINK KELLY IS SO PRESSED ABOUT GINA? IS KELLY OBSESSED WITH RHOC? SHOULD SHE TAKE UP MEDITATION?
