Jason Oppenheim Tells Selling Sunset Stars Not To Wear Jewelry Or Watches To Work After Robbery Nearby

I’ve never seen a more opulently dressed crew than the women from Selling Sunset. Work attire, my foot. The Oppenheim Group drips the bling, high heels, and designer duds better than the rest of them. It’s part of the show’s attraction, really. Selling high-end, luxury real estate calls in a certain style of dress. You have to look the part. And the ladies clearly love it.

Which is why I am slightly concerned for Jason Oppenheim‘s safety. Thanks to a recent watch theft, in the Oppenheim Group’s shared parking lot, Jason has decreed no more jewelry or watches at work. He’s also thinking about purchasing a gun and taking shooting lessons. As you do. But I digress.

I’m not sure how his as-yet-to-be-aired girlfriend ex-girlfriend Chrishell Stause will handle his request. Afterall, she has recently come out of her shell. Clapping back at haters, calling out inappropriate interactions, and sending nude photos to mothers don’t give me a lot of hope she’ll willingly listen.

And can you imagine the response Christine Quinn is sure to have at this request? Because no. Girlfriend would rather stare down a handgun, before giving up her bling. This is a woman who spends $1,000 a day, in glam. This would be akin to telling Erika Jayne not to wear themed outfits, or Lisa Rinna to stop naming her wigs. Not gonna happen.

Conversely, I can totally see Heather Rae El Moussa taking this in stride and rolling with it. She’s too wrapped up in new hubby Tarek El Moussa, IVF treatments, and vocal cord recovery. Girl’s not gonna sweat the small stuff.

According to Page Six, “[Jason]told them not to wear jewelry or watches anymore. We have to be diligent, you’ve got to look over your shoulder these days.” Which had to at least resonate with Christine. After all, she’s still traumatized by a recent home invasion attempt. I still don’t think it’s enough for her to listen though, after all, she has no quams being the bad guy.

Jason, “…let everyone know of the situation. We still have to work as normal but obviously not wearing any watches. [We’re] being careful, just looking around. It was very concerning; this city is having a lot of issues right now.” I’d say so, especially in the Bravo universe. Like Christine, both Kyle Richards and Dorit Kemsley have dealt with home invasions. Gotta say this is one trend where I wouldn’t want to be a head of the curve.

TELL US- DO YOU THINK JASON’S REQUEST IS REASONABLE? IF THERE WAS A ROBBERY NEAR YOU, WOULD YOU STOP WEARING JEWELRY AND WATCHES? DO YOU THINK THE LADIES WILL LISTEN?
