When it comes to wedding planning, there’s no one more sought out in the industry than Real Housewives of Miami’s Guerdy Abraira. Being in demand comes with a hefty price tag, as the wedding extraordinaire will set you back at least $60,000 for her services, or as she so rightfully coined, to “Guerdy-fy” an event.
Guerdy does it all- from home design to even organizing intimate in-home events, her list of clients read like a who’s who of Hollywood- with the likes of celebrities such as Oprah Winfrey and Julia Roberts. The global event planner, who is also the mom to two young boys and a wife to Russell Abraira, her high school sweetheart and husband of 26 years, recently made her debut as a new addition to the cast of RHOM during Season 4. RHOM veteran Alexia Echevarria chose Guerdy to plan her nuptials to her fiancé Todd Nepola.
As reported by Page Six, on a recent episode of Behind the Velvet Rope with David Yontef, the Haitian-born beauty made it known that to play, you certainly got to pay. “I mean it all depends, but 60K is usually the base,” Guerdy admitted.
Guerdy continued, “Then it depends on what the preliminaries are, you know? Is it a three-day event? Obviously, that’s going to be probably more developed and [employ] more staff, more this or whatever. Where is the event? So, everything has a play in it.”

Time is money as far as Guerdy is concerned, so to not create any false expectations she likes to talk about the costs “right off the bat” with new clients. “We’re in high demand. We’re not booking this year anymore; I’m all into 2023,” she explained. “Don’t waste my time, don’t waste your time, let’s just not waste time.”
She has created a “formula to make sure it’s worth everybody’s time because you want to provide the best for the best.” And from the price tag of a Guerdy affair, she made it clear that it costs a whole lot of money to “hire the best.”
