It’s amazing to look back on Season 2 of Real Housewives of Salt Lake City and realize that, somehow, Jen Shah’s arrest was a bit of an afterthought. There was more emphasis on Mary Cosby’s opinion of Jennie Nguyen, Meredith Marks‘ memorial for her father, and basically everything Lisa Barlow did than the great Shah-rrest of SLC. It’s not that they avoided the topic altogether, it was just a much different approach from the most recent season of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills with the Erika Jayne of it all.
Jen’s been proclaiming her innocence throughout RHOSLC Season 2, even though she’s not filling in many blanks. I thought the reunion episodes would be filled with pressing questions for Miss Shah, but it hasn’t been the case. We still don’t know why Jen potentially lied about Coach Shah’s health when the feds descended on Beauty Lab. Also, what is Jen’s POV on Stuart Smith potentially planning to flip on her? The fans deserve to know.
Other RHOSLC fans are also seemingly confused by Bravo’s approach to the Jen Shah of it all, according to Page Six. Celeb hairstylist Justin Anderson recently posted the question to his followers about Bravo’s different approaches for covering Erika and Jen. “Why we all just gigglin at Jen Shah’s jokes and outfit choice when we dragged Erika Jayne through the coals for an entire season?” Justin wrote.

The question caused such a buzz that Miss Shah herself decided to chime in. “I’m innocent… and look forward to trial so you along with everyone else can see the truth,” she said. Jen seems to think that if you sell merch claiming that you’re innocent, it will translate into the courtroom. It sounds like she needs some serious pre-trial prep based on her tactics for responding to the allegations so far.
Jen’s trial was recently postponed until July, so we have some more time left to see if she somehow gets Kim Kardashian on her legal team.
