The latest episode of Real Housewives of New Jersey was a doozy. There must be something in the Jersey shore air because this trip was full of drama. More so than usual, if that’s possible. Multiple fights went down, one even getting as close to physical as one could get. I’m talking about the beef between Melissa Gorga and Jennifer Aydin. The two have been feuding since last season and it came to a head as the cast hung out at Jennifer’s shore rental.
But let’s back up a moment and set the stage. Margaret Josephs was trying to get Luis “Louie” Ruelas to explain his controversial video. Teresa Giudice got predictably mad that anyone would dare question a grown man that she is bringing ON CAMERA.
Jennifer couldn’t help but get involved and tried to make it about her, chastising Marge for exposing the secret that husband Bill Aydin cheated on her. Enter Melissa, who reminded Jennifer that she was digging for dirt on the debunked rumor from last season that Jackie Goldschneider’s husband was cheating. If Jen was smart, she would have kept her new nose out of it. But she didn’t and things quickly escalated.
Things got (sort of) physical after Jennifer dragged Joe Gorga into it and called him a “little b**ch girl.” What did Joe ever do to her? Well, that was one step too far for Melissa, who jumped out of her seat and came for Jennifer. Hands flew and they grabbed each other until security pulled them apart. But Melissa is defending her actions. As reported by Reality Blurb, Melissa addressed it on a recent episode of Watch What Happens Live.

Host Andy Cohen accused Melissa of “charging” Jennifer. Which she did! And trust and believe I never want to take Jennifer’s side. But Melissa got in her face, no doubt about that. The footage doesn’t lie. Melissa denied it and responded, “I wasn’t really charging her. She wasn’t listening to me.”
Andy asserted that Melissa’s behavior “wasn’t good.” To which Melissa replied, “Was it good that she put her hands on me, though?” She added, “People get fired around here for that.” Joe, who appeared alongside his wife, jumped in with his own take on Melissa’s state of mind. Said Joe, “When you talk about her husband, she’ll slice you.”
