They’re just hot mics, but they work quite well. The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City trip to Zion ended in true Housewives form. A long time friendship seemed to evaporate as Meredith Marks and Lisa Barlow picked sides between two of the most delusional women we have ever seen on Bravo. It’s mystifying to see Meredith pick Mary Cosby over Lisa. But why is Lisa still rocking with Jen Shah after her recent behavior? Why don’t Meredith and Lisa just form their own island on the side of all this crazy? What are we missing?
Lisa and Meredith’s obvious issues came to a head over a Cinco de Mayo dinner in Zion. Meredith had Mary’s back when the other women were on the attack about her church/cult(?). Meredith’s loyalty to Mary upset Lisa who is feeling like she doesn’t have the same loyalty. Got all that? This show can be confusing with how quickly the tides turn. Don’t forget that Lisa brought on a man to slander Mary to Meredith earlier this season. Things are not going how Lisa had predicted. At all.

The newly infamous Lisa hot-mic-moment was seen by the Housewives the day before filming for the reunion. I can’t wait to see how Meredith reacts to hearing herself referred to as a “f**king piece of s**t garbage w**re” who “f**ked half of New York!” Lisa also mentioned Seth Marks’ inability to keep a job as well as her family of “posers” during the off-camera moment! It’s going to be intense to see the reactions.
In a recent episode of Watch What Happens Live Whitney Rose was asked about Lisa’s rant with producers behind closed doors. Whitney calmly asked, “Is it really a hot mic because there was a producer in the room?” If you didn’t notice, there is clearly a producer in the background that Lisa is talking to when the cameras “burst in.” Andy Cohen countered asking if Whitney really thought Lisa meant for her comments to be recorded and aired.

Whitney replied to Andy with a short, “I do” before he encouraged her and she added, “I think she lost her shit a little bit. I think she lost her cool, but I think, at some level, she’s obviously been thinking that for a very long time and it finally came out.” Could Lisa really engineer something that covert? Her attempt to bring Cameron Williams on was not this impressive?
