Well, that was fast. Three episodes into Celebrity Big Brother and already our first houseguest has been ousted from the Big Brother house. I’m not one to say I told you so, but it was none other than former Real Housewife of Beverly Hills, Teddi Mellencamp.
Teddi was targeted by HOH Miesha Tate thanks to the not-so-subtle nudging of Todrick Hall. Todrick believes Carson Kressly to be his biggest threat but doesn’t want to go after him directly. Miesha originally nominated Carson (as a pawn) and Mirai Nagasu for elimination. Todrick was hoping to make a plea for his ouster instead.
Repeat after me. Pawns go home.
Luckily Carson won the Power of Veto, with an impressive showing that schooled most of the cast, and he pulled himself off the block. This left Miesha with an empty chair to fill. Thanks to Todrick, Teddi was picked to replace him. Todrick knew Teddi wasn’t in Carson’s main alliance which included the two of them, Shanna Moakler and Real Housewife of Atlanta, Cynthia Bailey. Toderick wasn’t about to go after any of them, so instead he and Miesha went after the person Carson spent the most time with. And, just like that, Teddi found herself up for elimination.
The curse of Mon Won was revealed to be Nom Now. Using a schoolyard pick-like elimination a third houseguest would be nominated and have the ability to choose who they sat next to, Teddi or Mirai. It seemed for a moment that Teddi might escape elimination.

My one Big Brother watching kiddo, who knows nothing about RHOBH, was sitting next to me when I watched, and in his opinion, Teddi was a shoo-in for removal. Do you have any idea how hard that was for me? Thankfully, Todd Bridges had different plans. He took no time in removing Mirai from the block and taking a seat next to Teddi.
Teddi‘s big plea to the group was to eliminate her eventually, just not first. Girl, nobody wants to go home first. Not just you. You should have explained that your dad, John Mellencamp, needed more time to learn the game.
Now, however, it seems that Teddi isn’t so pressed about it after all. On a recent Instagram post, Teddi shared her homecoming and reunion with youngest daughter Dove. While her baby-talk voice makes the words on camera hard to interpret, it’s obvious the mom of three missed her children.
The accompanying caption read, “That’s just my baby Dovey. Thanks to everyone who watched me play the game of Celebrity Big Brother. Being voted out for being considered a threat isn’t so bad. I can say this for sure, I am so appreciative to be home and will never take for granted how incredible my life is. I missed my family and friends more than I ever could have imagined.”

Was she on the same show we’ve been watching? Being considered a threat? Girlfriend needs to read the room. No Teddi, you weren’t a threat. You were just the person friendliest with the biggest threat, and you weren’t even in his main alliance.
