Vanderpump Rules is starting to pick up some steam. Most of the highlights from last week revolved around Brock Davies inability to plan important events and his unwillingness to pay for anything. Did anyone else cringe when he whipped out four credit cards to pay for Scheana’s engagement ring? By the way, it looks like Brock went to Randall Emmett’s jeweler, because that rock isn’t even a diamond.
But I digress. Pump Rules is picking up because of Brock and James Kennedy. Every time they’re on screen together a fight breaks out and it’s the most real thing on the show every week. It seems like Brock is pretending to care a lot about James’ life to get camera time, which makes James very mad. So mad, he went all hulk on his water bottle. It’s this behavior that’s concerning, and I’m wondering if that had anything to do with he and Raquel Leviss calling it quits.
E! News reports that Raquel was a guest on the January 7 episode of Scheana Shay’s podcast Scheananigans with Scheana Shay. In the episode, Raquel really opens up about her split with James, saying, “it was kind of at Thanksgiving where I realized that I didn’t want to be in this relationship anymore.” Raquel “didn’t tell James this at the time” because she, along with her mother, was worried “he wasn’t going to have a good reaction.” Oof James you really need anger management.
Raquel shared that James and her family “were not meshing well” and “if we had a baby” holiday was “looking like it was going to be either James or my family.” You can definitely tell Raquel’s sister sees right through James. “Foreseeing this future and what it was all coming down to,” Raquel says, “I don’t want that.”

Raquel finally worked up the nerve to talk to James “while they were watching this season of Vanderpump Rules.” James reportedly “complained” to Raquel that “he didn’t have a funny storyline,” which caused Raquel “to point out that he had been too busy ‘not supporting me emotionally the way that I needed to be supported’.” Once she found her voice, she didn’t hold back, saying “it was like word vomit.” She told him, “This is how I’ve been feeling, and I can’t keep it in any longer because I’m not being an honest person and I’m lying to you and I don’t feel comfortable with this.”
“So I just told him that my heart isn’t in it anymore,” Raquel told Scheana. She also added that she told James, “I don’t appreciate the way that you treat other people; it’s not how I treat other people. And a piece of me dies inside each time you mistreat somebody.” Good for Raquel!! It probably took a lot of courage for her to finally stand up to James and his reactive personality.
Of course, James “asked for another chance,” but Raquel refused to back down. She responded like a queen, saying, “I gave you another chance…and that led us here.”
For the record, James didn’t erupt, instead he “really did listen to me and was understanding of where I was coming from,” Raquel said. She added, “we are going to try our best to be friends.”

I’m so proud of Raquel! She deserves way better than Jamesand his terrible temper. She just might be the only woman on VPR to get out of a toxic relationship at the right time.
TELL US- WHAT DO YOU THINK OF RAQUEL’S COMMENTS? DO YOU THINK THERE IS MORE TO THE STORY? WILL THEY REMAIN FRIENDS? WOULD YOU STILL WANT TO SEE RAQUEL ON PUMP RULES?
