Thankfully, a new year means that a new season of Real Housewives of New Jersey is fast approaching. And there is PLENTY of drama in store that will make you want to hunker down at home and spend time with the finest firecrackers Jersey has to offer. As always, Teresa Giudice will continue to be the talk of the town. Her relationship with Luis Ruelas is full speed ahead, as Louie wasted no time on getting engaged to his Pineapple Princess. However, rumors about his past will cause Tre to pop off, table flip style, on anyone and everyone who questions her love love love. Watch out, Margaret Josephs.
Thankfully, Tre seems to have finally gotten over her feud with Jackie Goldschneider that dominated RHONJ Season 11. Jackie’s analogy involving Gia Giudice and snorting cocaine did not go over well with Tre. The pair seem to be friends now but are treading lightly. Especially because it looks as though Gia continues to gravitate toward becoming a Real Housewives star of her own.
The next season of RHONJ will feature even more Gia, if you can believe it. Her staunch defense of her daddy Joe Giudice leads her into trouble with Melissa Gorga and Tarzan. Gia has been at odds with the Gorgas in the past, but this seems to be a new level. Her death stare toward Joe Gorga in the RHONJ trailer is already iconic, and the episode hasn’t even aired yet. Now, Gia seems to be taking another page from Juicy’s book by posting some clickbait regarding her relationship status. Make that coin, girl.
I was one of the viewers that totally shipped Gia with Dolores Catania’s hunky son Frankie Catania. However, Gia’s been in a relationship with a different guy, as confirmed by Frankie Jr. Bummer. But Gia decided to capitalize off of her relationship by posting a photo of her and her boo on Instagram, along with a clickbait-worthy caption. “Engagement news,” Gia wrote, prompting follows to click the link in the bio.

I spend a lot of time on Bravo social media, and I haven’t seen anyone speculating that Gia had a rock on her finger. I fully expect to find out that news, if it ever happens, via an Instagram story from Teresa. Tre would’ve had an over-the-top cake and floral arrangement on deck if her oldest was getting married. Plus, no way Tre and Gia would ever be planning weddings at the same time — the universe would explode. So it wasn’t surprising when the post, as captured by @bravobybetches, revealed absolutely no new information. Womp womp womp.
The story from Celebuzz included a quote from Gia on the matter. She addressed rumors circulating on the internet that she’s “secretly engaged”. Again, show me some receipts, but that’s beside the point. “I can confirm the engagement news – specifically, that we are not engaged,” Gia said. This is the lamest “news” of all time. This is definitely the offspring of Juicy Joe, but she has the glamorous vibe of Teresa. I’m thinking about so many things regarding this story, and none of them are good.
