The Real Housewives of Miami are certainly bringing the heat. While we are only a few episodes into season 4, fans are already loving the drama. But according to the newly married OG housewife, Alexia Echevarria, there’s a lot more where that came from.
Alexia recently dished to Entertainment Tonight about who brings the most drama to this season. And if you watched the first 3 seasons all those years ago, you won’t be surprised. According to Alexia, it’s Adriana de Moura, who was a well known pot stirrer on the original seasons of the franchise. Despite only being a “friend of” this time around, that doesn’t stop Adriana from being in the middle of it all.
Alexia revealed that the cast assignments don’t always portray the involvement of each housewife on the show. Said Alexia, “I don’t really think that your title really determines how much participation you get. And I feel like [Adriana] knows that, too. So it was kind of like, ‘I’m going to go for it every single time that we’re all together,’ because I think this is who she is. I think that she can’t be any different.”
Adriana, who is the first housewife to sing the show’s theme song, has one of the most explosive moments in this season’s much talked about trailer. Adriana attacks Larsa Pippen for her one-time friendship with the Kardashians. Adriana accused, “You left this group of women, come back with a butt as big as Kim Kardashian’s, trying to become the new Kim Kardashian, which you’re never gonna be!”

Alexia added, “That’s, like, the formula, the show: There’s always a drama causer, and I want to feel like it’s Adriana. I feel like Adriana’s always the one that doesn’t really care. She throws the bomb. She’s, like, the shocker, right? So I feel like she does that. Like when, when [she] starts with that, I was like, ‘Oh God!’ Like, ‘Here we go again,’ right?. I feel like women that really engage in that is because they’re a little bored with their lives and they have time for that. When I get together with the girls, I just want to like have fun and talk and stuff like that. But again, if Adriana’s in the group? Beware.”
Despite her warnings about Adriana, Alexia is in good company for season 4. Returning housewives are Larsa, Lisa Hochstein and Marysol Patton, who is also a “friend of.” They are all joined by newbies Guerdy Abraira, Dr. Nicole Martin, Julia Lemigova, and Kiki Barth.
