Cynthia Bailey has been a mainstay on the Real Housewives of Atlanta since Season 3. Her friendship (complete with a contract) with NeNe Leakes will always be central to RHOA history. She’s shown us the ins and outs of her two marriages, divorce, business ventures, and more. But after a long and successful decade+ on the show, she’s handing over her peach and saying goodbye.
E! Online reports that Cynthia announced her departure from RHOA on Instagram. She called it a “very difficult and heartfelt decision” to say goodbye ahead of Season 14. It’s poetic in a way — her first season storyline was her marriage to Peter Thomas, and she ended with her wedding (and dungeon-themed bachelorette party) to Mike Hill. But it’s the end of an era, especially considering RHOA tends to hold onto the OGs that have helped make the show so great.
50 Cynt also thanked her cast members for “eleven of the most unbelievable years of my life” and “the most incredible & UNFORGETTABLE memories.” While it’s a meaningful goodbye, it’s really just a see you later. Don’t forget that Cynthia is a part of the first-ever Real Housewives All-Stars vacation series that has yet to premiere. She apparently goes head-to-head with Kyle Richards, so don’t say goodbye to her cheekbones just yet.

The rumors have been swirling for weeks that Cynthia was on her way out. And it seemed like it was time for her to move on. It’s also been said that Porsha Williams might be going with her after her longtime stint on the show. But that wouldn’t be a total surprise either.
Porsha’s definitely not into all of the shade surrounding her engagement to Simon Guobadia. And she’s already got herself a spinoff. It seems like it might be time for her to hand her peach over to Marlo Hampton and go. We know Kenya Moore would have a field day if that ever were to be the case. There are also rumors that Miss She By Sheree Whitfield is making a third return to RHOA. The OG just can’t help but make a comeback and it gets better every time.
